How to Enter

Eligibility:

  • Open to all secondary school students in the UK

  • Aged between 13-18 years old on the day of the competition

  • Currently studying GCSE, A-Level, or equivalent qualification

  • No prior neuroscience experience required!

Entry Process:

  1. Register online for free as an individual or through your school.

  2. Prepare using our free neuroscience resources.

  3. Compete in the online preliminary round.

  4. Top scorers advance to the UK Brain Bee Final at Imperial College London.

  5. The winner represents the UK in the IBB Championship

Competition Format

The Brain Bee is spilt into three distinct phases:
