Hi everyone, my name is Jasmine and I am currently studying A level Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I joined the UKBB because I am fascinated by neurological diseases and how they affect people, and I saw this as an opportunity to learn the principles of neuroscience to better understand what happens when these systems malfunction. I love neuroscience because it unites biology, chemistry, physics and ethics while also exploring human consciousness and the reasons behind our thoughts and behaviours. In the future, I hope to contribute to advancing knowledge of neurodegenerative diseases so effective treatments and cures can be found.
